Spring has officially arrived and many Albuquerque families will enjoy Spring Break this month. Spring break is a popular time to visit the dentist while kids are out of school. 6Th Annual Spring Break at Albuquerque International Balloon Museum
When: April 16, 2014 9:30am to 3:00pm
Celebrate sun, wind, air and sky at the Balloon Museum. Activities include kite flying, creative bubbles, hot-air balloon demonstrations, paper airplanes, paper balloons, live music and entertainment.
Spring Pastels Flower Show
When: Ongoing through April 30, 2014 9:00am to 5:00pm
Where: Botanical Garden ABQ BioPark
Enjoy multi-color fuchsias and blue hydrangeas which fill the Mediterranean Conservatory. The outdoor gardens also pop with color with tulip-lined walkways and trees blooming overhead.
Los Lunas Easter Egg Hunt
When: April 16, 2014 3:00pm
Where: Daniel Fernandez Park, 1103 Highway 314 Los Lunas, NM
A free egg hunt for children as well as face painting, jumpers, vendor booths, and a bust a move competition.
Aquarium Overnight
When: April 18
Where: ABQ BioPark Aquarium
Explore the aquarium at night and learn about ocean animals and their nighttime behavior. Visit the touch pool, try a craft, play games, and watch a marine movie in the Aquarium theatre.
Easter Eggstravaganza at Hinkle Family Fun Center
When: Saturday April 19, 2014 11:00am to 2:00pm
Easter fun including egg decorating, interactive booths on the miniature golf course, visits with the Easter bunny, and a hunt for eggs and candy. Free of charge for the Eggstravaganza.
Easter Enrichment at the Zoo
When: April 20, 2014 9:30am to 11:30am
See the animals enjoy their Easter treats. Primates, carnivores, elephants, and hoofstock will get special Easter toys, egg-shaped cereal bars, and hard boiled eggs. Cost is free with regular admission.
Half-Price Weekend at ABQ BioPark

The ABQ BioPark hosts a special half-price weekend on Saturday and Sunday, April 19 and 20, 2014. All single admission tickets will be half price.
